1987 became a member of the pedhalangan faculty of STSI, now called ISI
1988 made his entry into the Solonese professional dhalang community as a result of his highly acclaimed performance at the home of Ki Anom Soeroto for “Rebo Legen” (lakon: Kunthi Pilih)
1990 won 1st place in the Central Javanese Dhalang Competition in
1990 first overseas trip, performed with the Southbank Centre in
1992 founded his current performing troupe “Mayangkara” (“Mangesthi Wayang Kagungan Rahayu”)
1994 performed in
1995 debuted his own version of Sumantri Ngenger, to great acclaim, for the 50-years of Indonesian Independence celebration at Pagelaran, Kraton Solo, which featured 50 nights of wayang by 50 of Solo's top dhalang

2004 graduated from UGM with his Master’s in Performing Arts. His thesis analyzed the influence of Tristuti Suryaputra's written texts and style on the Solonese pedhalangan scene and is entitled: Kehadiran Naskah Pedhalangan Karya Tristuti Rahmadi Surya Saputra Dalam Pertunjukan Wayang Kulit Gaya Surakarta

April 2008 performed in La Paz, Bolivia for the opening night of the biannual International Theater Festival (FITAZ), and conducted workshops throughout the festival, lakon Ciptoning, padhat (45 minutes)
