"Dancing Shadows, Epic Tales: Wayang Kulit of Indonesia" 

at the MOIFA in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This exhibit features a wayang kulit purwa collection that was previously owned by Ki Purbo Asmoro and sold to the museum in 2007. In August 2009, Ki Purbo was invited to peform in the museum.

Ki Purbo Asmoro performed two 1.5 hour versions of Sesaji Raja Suya, at 2 and 5 pm, for museum audiences. Spontaneous translation by Kathryn Emerson and gamelan music via a pre-recorded CD produced by Mayangkara back in Solo.
